Adventurers' Academy: Intro to Dungeons and Dragons In-Person
Welcome to a world of adventure! If you've ever wanted to learn how to play Dungeons and Dragons (D&D), this is the session for you. We'll create characters together, play them in some sample scenarios, and even dive into battle a bit. Prior experience with D&D is not required, but if you're familiar with the game already, you're welcome to come along and meet new friends who might just become your party members! Plus, if you join us for several sessions, you could win some fancy dice!
You will need:
- Dice (limited quantity provided): D&D uses a special set of uniquely-shaped dice, so your standard black-and-white six-sided dice won't cut it here. If you have your own set of dice, please bring them with you so we have enough to go around! If you're not sure what a "d20" or a "d6" is, you probably don't have the dice you need, but that's okay. You can use ours for now!
- The Player's Handbook (2024, 5.5 Edition) (limited quantity provided): If you own one, please bring it to share! We only have two copies, but everyone will need to use them.
Character sheets will be fully provided - no need to print your own ahead of time.
