Road Brine and Human Health In-Person

Oilfield brine is a byproduct of oil and gas development that is applied to some roads in Ashtabula County to help control dust. This discussion will explore what is known about oilfield brine composition and ongoing research on environmental exposures and possible health effects in local communities. Arbor Quist, PhD, an environmental epidemiologist and Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at The Ohio State University will lead this discussion.
