Work From Home Workshop Part 3: Resumes, Gaps, and Tough Questions In-Person

In Part 3, we’ll focus on what happens after you’ve found a promising remote job: getting past the robots and impressing the humans.

You’ll learn how to build a remote‑ready resume that can beat Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) by using the right keywords, clean formatting, and quantified accomplishments so real people actually see your application.

We’ll also cover why cover letters still matter for work‑from‑home roles, how to confidently explain employment gaps without oversharing, and where to highlight freelance, caregiving, or volunteer experience so it helps you instead of hurts you.

Finally, we’ll walk through strategies for acing remote interviews—including how to answer the toughest “trap” questions, tell your story clearly, and show employers you’re ready to thrive working from home.
