Wetlands: What They Are and Why They Matter In-Person
Join Monika Bowman from ODNR for a presentation on wetlands in our region and why they matter so much to agriculture and to our region's overall ecological health. Ohio has lost approximately 90% of its wetlands since the Western Reserve was first settled, but state and federal initiatives, like the H2Ohio program, are now focused on restoring them to combat issues such as harmful algal blooms in Lake Erie.
