Assisting Veterans to Understand and Receive Earned VA Benefits In-Person
The library is proud to partner with Ashtabula County Veterans Service Commission to offer in-person outreach for veterans and their families. This program provides a consistent, close-to-home resource to help veterans access the benefits and support they’ve earned.
During their visit, Veterans Service Officers can assist with:

Applications for service-connected disability compensation

Veteran and widow’s pensions

Education benefits
-
State benefits
-
Guidance on emergency financial assistance
This outreach will take place at the library on the second Tuesday of every month through July.
